Customizing Your Glucose Alert & Sound Settings

The Eversense 365 CGM System helps you stay aware of your glucose levels. It gives you alerts in three ways: vibrations of your smart transmitter, sounds from your phone app, and visual notifications on your mobile device. You’ll know when your glucose levels reach the alert levels you set.

Low And High Glucose Targets

Setting Low & High Glucose Alerts

These are the glucose levels where you want the system to alert you.
  • Low Glucose Alert is Always ON*.
  • High Glucose Alert can be turned ON or OFF. If turned OFF, you won’t receive any vibrations from the smart transmitter or sounds on your phone for high glucose levels.

* There is no glucose data or alerts generated when the transmitter is removed.

Setting Glucose Target Range

These are the glucose levels you want to stay between.
  • Both Low and High Glucose Targets are Always ON and cannot be turned OFF.
  • Target Range settings do not trigger alerts but are viewable on graphs and reports.

Customize Your Sound Settings

  • In the Sound Settings menu, you can select different ringtones for low vs. high alerts and determine how often they repeat.
  • To customize the tones you hear, tap Menu > Settings > Sound Settings (2).
  • Tap the different tones that are available to listen to a preview. Tones should be attention-getting and different from any other sound notifications you use with other apps (3).
  • By setting the snooze alert, you can set how often an alert repeats after you have received a Low Glucose and High Glucose alert.
  • Tap each snooze alert to set how often the alert repeats then tap Done when complete (4).

Helpful Tips

  1. Discuss Your Settings with Your Healthcare Provider: If you're not sure where to start, talk to your healthcare provider. They can help you get the most out of your Eversense 365 CGM System.

  2. Start with Basic Glucose Alerts: Begin with the most basic alerts, like low and high glucose alerts. You can add more alerts to your routine later. This helps you slowly adjust to your Eversense 365 CGM System.

  3. Getting Glucose Alerts on the Apple Watch: The Apple Watch can show your Eversense 365 CGM data, but is dependent on your primary mobile device (i.e. smartphone) being within range. Any alerts or notifications you get on your Apple Watch should also be checked on the Eversense 365 CGM Mobile App.

  4. Low Glucose Override Setting: When this setting is turned ON, Low and Out of Range Low Glucose alerts will sound at your phone's maximum volume. This means you'll still hear these alerts even if your phone is on Silent Mode or Do Not Disturb. If you don’t want to miss any alerts or notifications when your phone is on Silent Mode or Do Not Disturb, make sure the Low Glucose Override Setting is turned on (5).

  5. Notifications: Notifications require some action but are not critical. These messages appear in blue on your app.
